DESIGNED FOR BUSINESS
The Avaya 1408 is designed for office users who need quick access to everyday telephone functions without the complexity of a larger operator handset. Its display and navigation controls make it easy to access contacts, call history and supported system features.
Eight programmable buttons can be configured as call appearances or feature keys by the telephone-system administrator. By default, the first three buttons are normally used for incoming and outgoing call appearances, with the remaining buttons available for compatible system features.
The integrated speakerphone and dedicated headset socket provide flexible ways to handle calls, while the adjustable stand allows the phone to be positioned at either of two desktop angles.

COMPATIBILITY & SETUP
The Avaya 1408 is a digital system phone designed for connection to a compatible Avaya business telephone system. It is commonly used with supported Avaya IP Office systems and can also be supported on suitably configured Avaya Aura Communication Manager systems.
The phone must be connected to a compatible Avaya digital extension port. Button programming, extension assignment and available calling features depend on the telephone system, software version and administrator configuration.
Please note: This is not an analogue telephone and cannot be connected directly to a standard BT telephone socket. It is also not a SIP or Ethernet IP phone. Please confirm that your Avaya system and digital extension card support the 1408 before ordering.
