The EPOS IMPACT SDW 5066T is designed for professionals who handle calls across several communication platforms and need one premium headset system for desk phone, computer and mobile use.
The binaural on-ear design uses two leatherette ear cushions to help users concentrate on calls while working in busy offices and contact-centre environments.
Two digital MEMS noise-cancelling microphones help reduce surrounding office noise transmitted to the other caller, while super wideband audio provides high speech clarity on compatible platforms.
DECT wireless technology provides up to 180 metres of line-of-sight range and approximately 55 metres in a typical office environment, allowing users to move around the workplace while remaining connected.
Battery life is up to 14 hours in narrowband mode, with up to 12 hours in density-optimised wideband, 11.5 hours in wideband and 9 hours in super wideband mode. Standby time is up to 44 hours.
The battery can reach approximately 50% charge in 30 minutes and a full charge in around 1.5 hours when the headset is docked correctly in the powered base.
EPOS ActiveGard hearing protection helps reduce sudden acoustic peaks, while protected pairing and DECT security features are designed for professional business environments.
Microsoft Teams certification provides optimised integration with Teams when connected through a compatible PC configuration. Available desk-phone remote call-control features depend on the telephone model and may require a compatible EHS cable.

COMPATIBILITY & SETUP
The EPOS IMPACT SDW 5066T is designed for use with compatible desk phones, Windows or Mac computers and mobile devices through its professional base station and BTD 800 USB Bluetooth dongle.
The computer connection uses USB, while the telephone connection uses the appropriate audio cable. Mobile connectivity is provided through the supplied BTD 800 USB Bluetooth adapter.
Microsoft Teams certification provides optimised Teams functionality when used with a supported computer configuration. EPOS Connect can be used for compatible device configuration and firmware management.
