Unlike a conventional Bluetooth headset connection, the Engage 65 uses dedicated DECT wireless technology with Security Step C protection and FIPS-approved algorithms. This makes it particularly suitable for professional environments where call security, range and dependable wireless performance are important.

Its long wireless range allows users to move around the office while remaining connected. Integrated headset controls provide convenient access to answer, end, mute and volume functions, subject to the connected telephone, cable and communications platform.

The single-ear design allows users to communicate with colleagues around them. A built-in busylight helps indicate when the user is on a call, while the replaceable battery helps extend the practical life of the headset.

COMPATIBILITY & SETUP

The Jabra Engage 65 Mono base connects to a compatible analogue or digital desk phone using the supplied telephone cable and to a PC or laptop using USB. The headset communicates with the base through a dedicated, encrypted DECT wireless connection.

Basic desk-phone audio is available through the standard connection cable. Remote electronic answer and end-call control may require a compatible Jabra electronic hook switch cable or GN1000 handset lifter, depending on the telephone model.

Please note: The Engage 65 does not include Bluetooth and cannot pair directly with a mobile phone or tablet.
