Unlike a conventional Bluetooth headset connection, the Engage 65 uses dedicated DECT wireless technology with Security Step C protection and FIPS-approved algorithms. This makes it particularly suitable for professional environments where call security, range and dependable wireless performance are important.

Its long wireless range allows users to move around the office while remaining connected. Integrated headset controls provide convenient access to answer, end, mute and volume functions, subject to the connected telephone, cable and communications platform.

The dual-ear design helps reduce surrounding distractions and improves concentration in busy offices. A built-in busylight helps indicate when the user is on a call, while the replaceable battery helps extend the practical life of the headset.

Basic desk-phone audio is available through the standard connection cable. Remote electronic answer and end-call control may require a compatible Jabra electronic hook switch cable or GN1000 handset lifter, depending on the telephone model.
