DESIGNED FOR BUSINESS
The Jabra Evolve 40 Stereo provides a dependable wired solution for employees who regularly make calls through computers and softphone applications. Its wired design avoids the need for charging, Bluetooth pairing or battery management.
The headset connects to its detachable Jabra controller through a standard CTIA 3.5mm plug. The controller then connects to a compatible computer by USB, providing convenient access to call handling, volume adjustment and microphone mute functions on supported platforms.
For additional flexibility, the headset can be disconnected from the USB controller and connected directly to compatible devices with a 3.5mm headset socket. Call controls may not be available when the USB controller is not being used.
Its dual-ear design and leatherette ear cushions help reduce surrounding distractions, while the microphone boom can be positioned on either side for comfortable left- or right-side use. The built-in busylight helps show colleagues when the user is occupied.

Core USB audio should work with most standard computer communications applications, but answer, end, mute, busylight and other integrated functions depend on the supplied controller, operating system, software and communications platform.
