DESIGNED FOR BUSINESS
The Jabra Pro 9460 Mono is designed for professionals who regularly move between calls on a traditional desk telephone and calls made through a computer. Its touchscreen base provides clear access to both call sources and guides users through the initial connection and configuration process.
The base connects to a traditional desk phone using standard handset or headset connections and to a compatible PC or Mac through USB. The headset communicates securely with the base using DECT wireless technology.
A maximum wireless range of up to 150 metres is available under open, unobstructed conditions. Walls, floors, office layouts, radio interference and building construction will reduce the practical working range.
The lightweight mono design allows users to hear calls through one ear while remaining aware of colleagues and nearby activity. Its flexible microphone boom can be positioned close to the mouth, while the noise-cancelling microphone helps reduce surrounding office sound.
The headset supports both narrowband and wideband audio. Narrowband mode provides up to approximately 10 hours of talk time, while wideband mode provides improved speech quality with around eight hours of available talk time.
A multifunction headset button supports answer, end, reject and redial functions where available. Touch-sensitive controls on the headset allow users to adjust listening volume and mute the microphone without returning to the base.
The rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides up to approximately 38 hours of standby time and takes around two hours to charge fully. The headset charges whenever it is correctly docked in the powered base.
Jabra SafeTone and PeakStop hearing protection help reduce sudden loud sounds and excessive daily acoustic exposure. The system can also support conferencing with one primary and up to three additional compatible Jabra Pro headsets.

COMPATIBILITY & SETUP
For a computer softphone, connect the base to a compatible PC or Mac using the supplied USB cable. Follow the touchscreen setup guide and select the Jabra Pro 9460 as the speaker and microphone within the computer and communications application.
For a desk phone, connect the base between the telephone and its handset or compatible headset port using the supplied telephone cable. The touchscreen guides the user through desk-phone selection, clear-dial-tone adjustment and microphone-level setup.
Remote electronic answering from the headset may require a separately available Jabra electronic hook switch cable matched to the telephone model. Phones without compatible electronic hook-switch support may require the optional Jabra GN1000 handset lifter.
The Jabra Pro 9460 does not include Bluetooth and cannot pair directly with a mobile phone, tablet, ordinary DECT telephone or third-party base. Mobile connectivity was limited to other models within the Pro 9400 range.
Please note: This is an older desk-phone and computer-softphone system. Core audio should work with many compatible devices, but remote call control depends on the telephone, operating system, communications application and any required EHS cable or handset lifter. Please check compatibility where remote answer and end functions are essential.
