DESIGNED FOR BUSINESS
The Mitel 5330e is designed for professionals who need convenient access to several telephone lines, extensions, speed dials and system features from a single desktop handset.
Its 160 × 320-pixel graphical display presents caller information, menus, system prompts and programmable-key labels. Unlike the earlier Mitel 5330, later 5330e phones feature a backlit display for improved visibility in different lighting conditions.
The number and arrangement of programmable keys depends on the telephone platform and firmware. MiVoice 250 documentation describes 33 programmable buttons, while MiVoice Business provides 24 programmable multi-function keys for one-touch access to configured features.
Page-navigation controls provide access to additional key assignments, allowing the telephone-system administrator to configure lines, extensions, speed dials and frequently used features according to the user’s role.
Dedicated controls provide quick access to common functions such as hold, transfer, conference, redial, message access, applications, mute, volume adjustment and hands-free calling.
The integrated full-duplex speakerphone supports natural hands-free conversations. A compatible wired headset can also be connected, while an optional Mitel Cordless DECT Accessories Module allows supported cordless handsets and headsets to be paired directly with the phone.
Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports allow the telephone to connect to the network while providing a pass-through connection for a nearby computer. This avoids reducing a compatible computer’s network connection to 100Mbps.
The phone can normally receive power from a compatible Power over Ethernet network switch or injector. Where suitable PoE is unavailable, a compatible Mitel external power adapter is required.
The Mitel 5330e was produced for Mitel call-control platforms and with separate SIP firmware. Firmware, provisioning, licences and system configuration must match the intended telephone service.

COMPATIBILITY & SETUP
The Mitel 5330e is a system IP phone and normally requires a compatible Mitel telephone platform, suitable licensing and provisioning by the system administrator or communications provider.
Connect the LAN port to a suitable Ethernet network. Where compatible Power over Ethernet is available, the phone can receive power through the network cable. Otherwise, a suitable external Mitel power adapter is required.
The second Gigabit Ethernet port can provide a network connection to a nearby computer. Network addressing, VLAN settings, security and quality-of-service requirements should be confirmed with the system administrator.
The Mitel 5330e was available with platform-specific Mitel firmware and separate SIP firmware. A telephone prepared for one platform may not register on another without compatible firmware, provisioning files, licences and administrator access.
Available lines, key assignments, voicemail, call forwarding, conferencing, directories, applications and other functions are controlled by the connected telephone system and its configuration.
Optional cordless accessories require the compatible Mitel Cordless DECT Accessories Module. The module, cordless handset, headset and charging accessories are not included unless specifically stated.
Please note: This telephone does not connect directly to an ordinary analogue telephone line. Please confirm the required Mitel platform, firmware, licence and power arrangement before ordering. The external power adapter is not included unless specifically stated.
