DESIGNED FOR BUSINESS
The Mitel 5360 is designed for professional users who need quick access to multiple lines, extensions, contacts, call-handling features and business applications from one desktop telephone.
Its seven-inch backlit colour touchscreen provides an 800 × 480-pixel viewing area. The screen displays caller information, telephone status, programmable keys, menus and supported applications.
Self-labelling touchscreen keys can be configured as line appearances, speed dials, feature-access buttons, contacts or applications. The number and layout of available keys varies according to the connected Mitel platform and firmware.
On MiVoice Business systems, the telephone provides up to 48 programmable keys across three touchscreen pages. MiVoice 250 documentation describes up to 42 programmable keys across three pages.
Context-sensitive softkeys change according to the current call or application, providing relevant controls without filling the telephone with additional physical buttons.
The Gadget Sidebar provides quick access to supported functions and embedded applications, which can include call history, contacts, call forwarding, conference controls, voicemail and display settings. Available applications depend on the telephone system.
Wideband audio provides improved voice clarity on supported calls. The integrated full-duplex speakerphone allows natural hands-free conversations, while a compatible wired headset can be used for more private or frequent calling.
Selected Mitel cordless accessories can also be supported when the appropriate Mitel Cordless DECT Accessories Module is installed. The module and cordless accessories are available separately.
Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports allow the phone to connect to the business network while providing a pass-through connection for a nearby computer without reducing a compatible Gigabit network connection to 100Mbps.
The Mitel 5360 was available for Mitel MiNet call-control systems and with separate SIP firmware. Firmware, provisioning, licences and platform configuration must match the intended telephone service.

COMPATIBILITY & SETUP
The Mitel 5360 is a system IP phone and normally requires a compatible Mitel telephone platform, suitable licensing and provisioning by the system administrator or communications provider.
Connect the LAN port to a suitable Ethernet network. Where compatible Power over Ethernet is available, the telephone can receive power through the network cable. Otherwise, a suitable Mitel 48V external power adapter is required.
The second Gigabit Ethernet port can provide a network connection to a nearby computer. Network addressing, VLAN settings, security and quality-of-service requirements should be confirmed with the system administrator.
Mitel produced MiNet and SIP software for the 5360. A telephone prepared for one protocol or platform may not register on another without the correct firmware, licences, provisioning files and administrator access.
The number of programmable keys, available applications and touchscreen layout vary between MiVoice Business, MiVoice 250 and SIP configurations. These functions are controlled by the connected telephone system rather than by the handset alone.
Optional cordless accessories require the compatible Mitel Cordless DECT Accessories Module. The module, cordless handset, headset and charging accessories are not included unless specifically stated.
Please note: This telephone does not connect directly to an ordinary analogue telephone line. Please confirm the required Mitel platform, firmware, licensing and power arrangement before ordering. The external power adapter is not included unless specifically stated.
