The Plantronics C3220 is designed for office and home-based users who require a straightforward wired headset for computer calls, online meetings and multimedia listening.
The integrated USB-A cable connects directly to a compatible Windows or macOS computer without requiring a separate sound card, amplifier, pairing process or charging base.
The stereo design provides sound through both earcups, helping users remain focused during voice calls, video meetings, training sessions and computer audio.
Its noise-cancelling boom microphone helps reduce surrounding office sound so the user’s voice remains clearer to callers and meeting participants.
The microphone boom can be adjusted for consistent voice pickup and can be positioned on either side of the head.
Dynamic EQ automatically optimises audio settings for voice calls and adjusts the sound profile when the headset is used for music, videos or other multimedia content.
Wideband call audio supports clearer and more natural speech with compatible softphones and communications applications.
The headset also supports full-range stereo media audio, making it suitable for training videos, recorded calls, presentations and general computer listening.
The inline control module places call answering and ending, mute and volume adjustment within convenient reach. Additional functions such as hold or redial may be available with supported applications.
Call-control integration depends on the operating system, communications application and installed Poly software. Standard speaker and microphone audio can still operate where advanced controls are unsupported.
A lightweight metal-reinforced headband provides an adjustable fit, while the rotating earcups and new cushions are designed for comfortable everyday office use.
SoundGuard acoustic protection helps limit sudden loud sounds transmitted through the headset during calls.
As a corded USB headset, the C3220 does not require batteries or charging and is ready to use whenever it is connected to a compatible device.

COMPATIBILITY & SETUP
The Plantronics C3220 connects to a compatible Windows or macOS computer through its integrated USB-A cable.
Most computers will recognise the headset automatically as a speaker and microphone device. It may then need to be selected as the preferred audio device within the operating system, softphone or meeting application.
The headset supports computer audio with compatible calling, conferencing and multimedia applications. Advanced inline functions such as call answering, ending, hold or redial depend on application integration and installed Poly software.
The C3220 does not have a 3.5mm analogue connection and is not designed to plug directly into a desk phone, mobile-phone headphone socket or traditional telephone headset port.
A USB-A to USB-C adapter may allow connection to certain USB-C devices, although audio and call-control compatibility should be confirmed for the intended computer, tablet or mobile device.
Microsoft Teams and standard UC versions were produced. Both can provide USB audio, but button behaviour, certification and application integration depend on the precise model supplied.
