The refurbished Plantronics Savi W720 Wireless DECT Headset is a professional stereo communications system designed for users who handle calls from a desk phone, computer and Bluetooth mobile device.
Its dual-ear design helps users concentrate during calls, while the noise-cancelling boom microphone reduces surrounding office sound. The Savi 700 Series base brings three communication sources together and provides convenient headset charging and storage between calls.

DESIGNED FOR BUSINESS
The Plantronics Savi W720 is designed for professional users who regularly switch between desk-phone calls, computer communications and mobile calls.
Its Savi 700 Series base connects to a compatible desk phone using a telephone-interface cable and to a computer through USB. A compatible mobile phone can be paired with the base using Bluetooth.
Dedicated source buttons on the base allow users to select between desk-phone, computer and mobile audio without changing headsets.
Audio from two connected sources can be combined into a conference, subject to the connected equipment and communication services.
The stereo design delivers sound through both speakers, helping users concentrate during customer calls, video meetings and other communication-heavy work.
Its adjustable noise-cancelling boom microphone helps reduce surrounding office sound so the user’s voice remains clearer to callers.
The microphone boom can be positioned on either side of the head and adjusted so that it sits close to the corner of the mouth for consistent voice pickup.
On-headset controls provide convenient access to call answering and ending, microphone mute and listening-volume adjustment.
Supported call controls depend on the connected telephone, computer application, installed software and connection arrangement.
DECT wireless technology provides substantially greater workplace mobility than a conventional short-range Bluetooth headset. The maximum open-area range is up to approximately 120 metres.
Practical indoor range will normally be lower and depends on walls, floors, reinforced construction, electrical interference and the position of the base.
The tested rechargeable battery can provide up to approximately nine hours of talk time when fully charged and in suitable condition. Actual performance varies with battery age, use and operating environment.
A complete charge takes approximately three hours. When not in use, the headset sits securely in the supplied cradle for convenient storage and charging.
Wideband computer audio can provide clearer and more natural speech with compatible softphones and conferencing applications.
The Savi 700 Series also supports Bluetooth A2DP audio streaming from compatible mobile devices through the base.
The base includes desk-phone compatibility and audio-level adjustments to suit different telephone systems and installation arrangements.
DECT Forum security certification confirms support for enhanced registration, authentication, authorisation and encryption procedures.

COMPATIBILITY & SETUP
The Plantronics Savi W720 base connects to a compatible desk phone using the supplied telephone-interface cable and to a Windows or macOS computer through USB.
A compatible mobile phone can be paired with the base through Bluetooth. The headset itself communicates with the base using DECT rather than pairing directly with the mobile phone.
With the standard desk-phone connection, the user will normally need to lift and replace the telephone handset manually when making or receiving calls.
Remote call answering and ending requires either a compatible electronic hook-switch cable or a Poly HL10 mechanical handset lifter.
Electronic hook-switch cables are telephone-specific. The correct cable depends on the exact desk-phone manufacturer and model and is not included unless specifically stated.
Computer audio works with compatible calling, conferencing and multimedia applications. Advanced call control depends on the operating system, application and installed Plantronics or Poly software.
Standard and Microsoft-optimised variants were produced. Both can provide audio, but certification and application-button behaviour depend on the precise model supplied.
The Savi W720 is an earlier-generation product. Compatibility with current operating systems and software applications should be confirmed where advanced software integration is required.
