DESIGNED FOR BUSINESS
The Snom 320 is designed for business users who need direct access to multiple extensions, contacts and call-management functions.
It supports up to twelve SIP identities, allowing the phone to be configured with multiple accounts or call appearances where supported by the connected telephone system.
Twelve programmable function keys with LED indicators can be assigned to lines, speed dials, monitored extensions, Busy Lamp Field contacts or other supported functions.
This makes the phone suitable for receptionists, administrators, customer-service teams and users who regularly handle several extensions or active calls.
The tiltable two-line backlit display presents extension information, caller details, telephone menus, call status and other system information.
Dedicated navigation, transfer, hold, directory, message, mute, headset and speakerphone controls provide straightforward access to common telephone functions.
The full-duplex speakerphone supports natural hands-free conversations and allows both callers to speak without the restrictions of a basic half-duplex speakerphone.
A built-in three-party conference function can combine calls locally, subject to firmware and telephone-platform configuration.
The dedicated wired-headset connection supports compatible professional headsets using the correct Snom adapter or headset cable.
Remote call control may be available with a compatible wireless headset and the Snom EHS Advanced adapter, subject to firmware and headset compatibility.
Two 10/100 Ethernet ports allow the telephone to connect to the network while providing a pass-through network connection for a nearby computer.
The computer pass-through connection can reduce the need for a separate network socket at each desk, although it is limited to Fast Ethernet rather than Gigabit Ethernet.
IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet allows the phone to receive power and network connectivity through one cable when connected to a suitable PoE switch or injector.
Where PoE is unavailable, the telephone can use a compatible 5V Snom mains adapter. The adapter is not included unless specifically stated.
The Snom 320 supports standard SIP and must be configured for a compatible hosted VoIP service, SIP server or business telephone platform before calls can be made.
Functions such as voicemail, call pickup, call parking, directories, presence and Busy Lamp Field monitoring depend on the connected platform and provisioning profile.
The phone includes a browser-based administration interface for configuring accounts, network settings, programmable keys and telephone preferences.
Compatible providers and system administrators may also deploy settings through centralised provisioning.
A compatible period-correct Snom expansion module can provide additional programmable function keys for reception and attendant use.
The Snom 320 is an older discontinued model. Firmware availability and support for new activation vary between telephone providers and should be confirmed before ordering.
The phone is supplied reset and prepared for configuration but does not include a telephone number, SIP subscription, hosted licence or provider setup.
Product appearance and labelling may vary slightly between hardware revisions, but all supplied units are tested and prepared to the selected cosmetic grade.

COMPATIBILITY & SETUP
The Snom 320 is a SIP network telephone. It requires a compatible hosted VoIP provider, SIP server or business telephone platform and cannot connect directly to an ordinary analogue telephone line.
The phone must be connected to an Ethernet network with access to the required telephone service. SIP account details or provider-controlled provisioning are required before calls can be made.
Power can be supplied by a compatible IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet switch or injector. Where PoE is unavailable, the correct Snom-compatible 5V mains adapter is required and is not included unless specifically stated.
The second 10/100 Ethernet port can provide a pass-through network connection for a nearby computer.
A compatible wired headset can be connected through the dedicated headset port using the correct headset cable or adapter.
Remote call control with a compatible wireless headset requires the appropriate Snom EHS adapter and suitable phone firmware.
Compatible period-correct Snom expansion modules may be connected through the proprietary expansion port. Key assignments and Busy Lamp Field functions depend on firmware, power and platform support.
The Snom 320 does not include built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or Gigabit Ethernet and normally requires a wired network connection.
The Snom 320 is discontinued and uses an older firmware platform. Current provider compatibility and support for new activation should be confirmed before ordering.
The phone is supplied without an extension number, SIP subscription, hosted telephone licence or configuration service unless specifically agreed separately.
Please note: Confirm compatibility with your telephone provider before ordering. A power adapter, headset, EHS adapter and expansion module are not included unless specifically stated.
