The refurbished Snom D715 IP Phone is a professional SIP business telephone designed for offices, reception areas, customer-service teams and users who need reliable audio, Gigabit networking and programmable call controls.
It combines a 3.2-inch backlit monochrome display with HD wideband audio, five programmable LED function keys, dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, USB connectivity and Power over Ethernet. Four SIP identities allow the phone to support multiple configured extensions or call appearances, subject to the connected telephone platform.

The Snom D715 is designed for professional users who need reliable SIP calling, Gigabit networking and flexible accessory support in a compact desktop phone.
Four SIP identities allow the phone to support multiple configured accounts, extensions or call appearances where permitted by the connected telephone platform.
The phone can handle up to four simultaneous calls, although actual availability depends on the provider and provisioning profile.
Five programmable function keys with LED indicators can be assigned to speed dials, monitored extensions, Busy Lamp Field contacts, presence or other supported functions.
The 3.2-inch graphical monochrome display presents caller information, extension details, call status, telephone menus and context-sensitive options.
Four context-sensitive function keys change according to the active menu or call state, helping users access the most relevant telephone controls.
Dedicated message, headset, speakerphone, mute and volume controls provide direct access to frequently used functions.
Wideband G.722 audio supports clearer and more natural conversations when the telephone service, network and other endpoint use compatible codecs.
The full-duplex HD speakerphone allows both callers to speak naturally during hands-free conversations.
Local three-party conferencing allows compatible calls to be combined directly on the telephone.
A dedicated RJ9 headset connection supports compatible professional wired headsets using the correct connection cable.
A separate EHS port can support remote answering and call control with selected wireless headsets and the correct Snom EHS adapter.
The USB Type-A port can support selected USB headsets and compatible accessories, subject to firmware and accessory compatibility.
A compatible Snom A210 USB adapter can add Wi-Fi connectivity where a wired network connection is unavailable.
The USB port also supports Snom D7 expansion modules, providing additional programmable keys for reception and extension-monitoring environments.
Up to three compatible Snom D7 expansion modules can be connected, subject to firmware, power and platform support.
Two Gigabit Ethernet ports allow the phone to connect to the business network while providing a high-speed pass-through connection for a nearby computer.
The Gigabit pass-through connection avoids restricting the connected computer to the 100Mbps network speed found on some earlier business phones.
IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet allows the phone to receive power and network connectivity through one cable when connected to a compatible PoE switch or injector.
Where PoE is unavailable, the phone can use a compatible 5V Snom mains adapter. The adapter is not included unless specifically stated.
The local telephone directory can hold up to 1,000 entries, while LDAP support can provide access to a compatible server-based directory.
The browser-based administration interface allows authorised users to configure accounts, network settings, programmable keys and telephone preferences.
Automatic provisioning can be completed through HTTP, HTTPS or TFTP, with support for DHCP options and Snom’s secure provisioning services.
Security features include HTTPS, TLS, SRTP, OpenVPN and IEEE 802.1X support, subject to the connected platform and firmware configuration.
The Snom D715 is an end-of-sale model. Firmware availability and support for new activation vary between hosted VoIP providers and should be confirmed before ordering.
The phone is supplied reset and prepared for configuration but does not include a telephone number, SIP subscription, hosted licence or provider setup.

COMPATIBILITY & SETUP
The Snom D715 is a SIP network telephone. It requires a compatible hosted VoIP provider, SIP server or business telephone platform and cannot connect directly to an ordinary analogue telephone line.
The phone must be connected to an Ethernet network with access to the required telephone service. SIP account details or provider-controlled provisioning are required before calls can be made.
Power can be supplied by a compatible IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet switch or injector. Where PoE is unavailable, the correct Snom-compatible 5V mains adapter is required and is not included unless specifically stated.
The second Gigabit Ethernet port can provide a high-speed pass-through network connection for a nearby computer.
A compatible wired headset can be connected through the dedicated RJ9 headset port. Selected USB headsets can also use the USB Type-A port.
Remote call control with a compatible wireless headset requires the correct Snom EHS adapter and suitable telephone firmware.
A compatible Snom USB Wi-Fi adapter can provide wireless network connectivity. The phone does not have Wi-Fi built in.
Up to three compatible Snom D7 expansion modules may be connected through USB. Available BLF and key functions depend on firmware and telephone-platform support.
The Snom D715 does not include built-in Bluetooth.
The D715 is an end-of-sale model. Firmware availability and support for new activation vary between hosted telephone providers.
The phone is supplied without an extension number, SIP subscription, hosted telephone licence or configuration service unless specifically agreed separately.
