The new Yealink BH72 UC Bluetooth Headset with Wireless Charging Stand is designed for hybrid workers, office professionals and remote users who need clear business calls, comfortable stereo audio and flexible connectivity across computers and mobile devices.

It combines Yealink Acoustic Shield microphone technology with a retractable microphone boom, Bluetooth 5.2, dual busylights, dynamic call and music audio, soft memory-foam ear cushions and up to 35 hours of talk time. The supplied BHC76 Qi charging stand keeps the headset powered and can also charge other compatible Qi-enabled devices.

The Yealink BH72 UC is designed for professionals who regularly switch between online meetings, telephone calls, focused work and music throughout the working day.

The supplied Yealink BT51 USB Bluetooth adapter provides a reliable plug-and-play connection to compatible computers and selected business telephones.

USB-A and USB-C versions were produced. The correct variation should be selected to match the available USB connection on the intended computer or telephone.

The headset can also connect directly to compatible Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones, tablets and computers.

Up to eight Bluetooth devices can be stored in the headset’s pairing list, reducing the need to repeat the pairing process when returning to a previously connected device.

Two Bluetooth devices can remain connected simultaneously, allowing the user to manage calls and audio across a computer and mobile phone.

Bluetooth operating range is rated at up to approximately 30 metres under suitable unobstructed conditions.

Actual wireless range depends on the connected equipment, walls, interference, radio congestion and the surrounding environment.

Yealink Acoustic Shield technology uses the headset’s two microphones and beamforming processing to reduce surrounding noise transmitted to other call participants.

The retractable microphone boom can be extended for business calls and hidden within the earcup when the headset is being used casually or carried between locations.

The BH72 uses passive noise isolation rather than active noise cancellation. Its angled ear cushions and oval memory foam help reduce surrounding sound without electronic ANC.

Dynamic equalisation automatically adjusts audio characteristics between speech and music use, helping provide clear voices during calls and fuller sound during media playback.

The 35mm stereo speakers provide a frequency range of 20Hz to 20kHz for compatible music and media.

Speech bandwidth extends from approximately 100Hz to 8kHz, subject to the connected platform, Bluetooth profile and audio mode.

Dual busylights positioned on the earcups automatically illuminate during calls to provide an easily visible indication that the wearer is occupied.

The busylight can also be activated manually by pressing the two volume buttons together, allowing the user to indicate that they do not wish to be disturbed.

On-headset controls provide convenient access to answer and end calls, mute the microphone, adjust volume and control compatible music playback.

The UC version is designed for broad compatibility with popular unified communications applications and computer operating systems.

Available call controls and application integration vary between software platforms, operating systems and the connection method used.

Yealink USB Connect software can be used on compatible computers to manage headset settings, update firmware and configure supported features.

The internal rechargeable battery provides up to 35 hours of talk time, up to 40 hours of music playback and up to 112 hours of standby under manufacturer test conditions.

Actual battery performance varies according to call volume, wireless range, busylight use, playback volume and connected equipment.

Wired charging through the USB cable takes up to approximately two hours.

Wireless charging through the supplied BHC76 stand takes up to approximately three hours.

The BHC76 stand supports Qi wireless charging and can also charge a compatible smartphone or other Qi-enabled device when positioned correctly.

A suitable powered USB connection or compatible mains adapter is required to operate the charging stand.

The headset incorporates EN50332 user hearing-protection support to help manage exposure to excessive audio levels.

The BH72 does not require a subscription, but compatible communications software, user accounts and licences must be obtained separately where required.
