The new Yealink SIP-T48U Executive IP Phone is designed for senior professionals, executives, reception teams and busy office users who need advanced call handling, a large touchscreen and flexible accessory support.
It combines a 7-inch colour touchscreen with up to sixteen SIP accounts, dual Gigabit Ethernet, Power over Ethernet and two USB ports for compatible headsets, call recording, expansion modules and optional wireless adapters.

The Yealink SIP-T48U is designed for executives and professional users who manage multiple calls, extensions and telephone functions throughout the working day.
Its large 7-inch colour touchscreen provides a clear and intuitive interface for line selection, call history, directories, settings and programmable functions.
The 800 × 480 display allows users to move between pages and applications quickly without relying on physical paper labels.
Up to sixteen SIP accounts can be configured, allowing the phone to support multiple extensions, telephone numbers or service providers where permitted by the connected platform.
Paperless programmable keys can be used for lines, monitored extensions, contacts, speed dials and call-management features.
Busy Lamp Field and presence indicators allow suitable extensions to be monitored before a call is placed or transferred.
Yealink Optima HD Voice combines wideband codecs, professional acoustic hardware and audio processing to support clear conversations.
Yealink Acoustic Shield and Smart Noise Filtering help reduce unwanted office noise transmitted to the other caller.
A full-duplex speakerphone with acoustic echo cancellation allows both participants to speak naturally during hands-free conversations.
The handset uses a Hall-effect switch rather than a traditional mechanical hook switch, helping provide quieter and more reliable on-hook detection.
The handset is hearing-aid compatible for users with suitable hearing devices.
Call functions can include hold, mute, transfer, forwarding, Do Not Disturb, call waiting, call pickup and call parking.
The phone supports local five-way conferencing, subject to firmware and telephone-platform configuration.
Directory support can include local contacts, remote XML phonebooks, LDAP and synchronised provider directories.
Two USB Type-A ports provide greater accessory flexibility than single-USB office phones.
Compatible USB headsets can connect directly to the phone for professional hands-free calling.

Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are not built into the phone and require the correct optional USB accessories.
The dedicated RJ9 headset connection supports compatible professional wired headsets using the correct connection cable.

The phone supports the Yealink EXP43 expansion module, adding a colour display and up to sixty programmable functions per module.
Up to three compatible EXP43 modules may be supported, subject to firmware and power requirements.
Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports allow the phone to connect to the network while providing a pass-through connection for a nearby computer.
IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet allows the phone to receive network data and electrical power through one Ethernet cable.
Where PoE is unavailable, the phone can be powered using an optional compatible Yealink 5V/2A mains adapter.
The adjustable desktop stand provides two viewing positions for different desk layouts and seating arrangements.
The phone can also be wall mounted using the appropriate compatible Yealink mounting accessory.
Provisioning options include Yealink Redirection and Provisioning Service, zero-touch deployment, XML configuration and central device-management platforms.
The phone requires a compatible SIP account, hosted telephone service or IP-PBX configuration. These services are not included with the hardware.

COMPATIBILITY & SETUP
The Yealink SIP-T48U is a SIP network phone and requires a compatible hosted VoIP provider, SIP server or IP-PBX.
The phone connects to the network through Gigabit Ethernet and can receive power from a compatible IEEE 802.3af PoE switch or injector.
Where PoE is unavailable, a compatible Yealink 5V/2A power adapter is required. The adapter is not included unless specifically stated.
Wi-Fi is not built in. Wireless network access requires a compatible Yealink WF40 or WF50 USB Wi-Fi dongle.
Bluetooth is not built in. Bluetooth headset or mobile-device connectivity requires a compatible Yealink Bluetooth USB dongle.
Compatible wired professional headsets can connect through the RJ9 headset socket. Selected USB headsets can use either USB Type-A port.
The Yealink EXP43 expansion module can be connected for additional programmable line, presence and Busy Lamp Field keys.
Available features, codecs, programmable keys and call controls depend on the selected VoIP provider, telephone platform and administrator configuration.
Please note: A SIP account, telephone number, hosted licence, PoE equipment, mains adapter, Wi-Fi dongle, Bluetooth dongle, headset and expansion module are not included unless specifically stated.
