The refurbished Yealink SIP-T40G IP Phone is a dependable business telephone for everyday office calling, shared workspaces and compatible hosted VoIP installations.
It supports three SIP accounts and combines a clear backlit display with Yealink HD Voice, three programmable line keys, dual Gigabit Ethernet, Power over Ethernet and a full-duplex hands-free speakerphone.

DESIGNED FOR BUSINESS
The Yealink SIP-T40G is designed for everyday office users who require reliable VoIP calling and Gigabit computer network pass-through.
Three SIP accounts allow the phone to support multiple extensions, lines or telephone identities where permitted by the connected provider.
Three illuminated line keys can be configured for SIP accounts, speed dial, Busy Lamp Field monitoring or other platform-supported functions.
The 2.3-inch graphical display is backlit and shows caller information, call history, menus, directories and line status.
Its paperless design allows line and programmable-key information to be shown on the display rather than requiring printed labels.
Yealink Optima HD Voice supports wideband audio through the handset and speakerphone when used with a compatible telephone platform.
Supported wideband codecs include Opus and G.722, subject to the connected VoIP service and firmware.
The full-duplex speakerphone includes acoustic echo cancellation, allowing both participants to speak naturally during hands-free calls.
Common calling functions include hold, mute, transfer, forwarding, call waiting, redial, Do Not Disturb, call pickup and voicemail access.
Three-way local conferencing allows the user to combine two other parties into one call, subject to platform configuration.
Directory support can include a local phonebook with up to 1,000 contacts, remote XML phonebooks and compatible LDAP directories.
Busy Lamp Field and presence functions can show the status of compatible extensions before a call is placed or transferred.
Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports allow the phone and a nearby computer to share one network connection without restricting the computer to Fast Ethernet speeds.
IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet allows a compatible switch or injector to deliver both power and network data through one RJ45 cable.
Where PoE is unavailable, the telephone can use a compatible Yealink 5V/600mA mains power adapter.
The dedicated RJ9 headset connection accepts compatible professional wired headsets using the appropriate connection cable.
Electronic Hook Switch support allows selected wireless headset systems to answer and end calls remotely when used with a compatible adapter.
The phone does not provide built-in Wi-Fi or Bluetooth and normally requires a wired Ethernet network connection.
The adjustable desktop stand provides two operating angles, helping users position the screen and keypad comfortably.
Provisioning options include Yealink Redirection and Provisioning Service, XML configuration and compatible central-management platforms.
Yealink discontinued the SIP-T40G on 30 September 2021, making refurbished units particularly useful for replacing failed phones or extending an established deployment.
The phone requires a compatible SIP account, hosted VoIP service or IP-PBX configuration. These services are not included with the hardware.

COMPATIBILITY & SETUP
The Yealink SIP-T40G is a SIP network phone and requires a compatible hosted VoIP provider, SIP server or IP-PBX.
The phone connects through Gigabit Ethernet and can receive power from a compatible IEEE 802.3af PoE switch or injector.
Where PoE is unavailable, a compatible Yealink 5V/600mA power adapter is required. The adapter is not included unless specifically stated.
The SIP-T40G does not include built-in Wi-Fi or Bluetooth and should normally be connected to the network using an Ethernet cable.
Compatible wired professional headsets can connect through the RJ9 headset port. Selected wireless headset systems require the correct compatible EHS adapter.
Available calling functions, directories, programmable keys and Busy Lamp Field behaviour depend on the selected VoIP provider and administrator configuration.
The model was discontinued in September 2021. Compatibility and available firmware should be checked before using it in a completely new deployment.
