PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The refurbished Yealink SIP-T48G IP Phone is a premium touchscreen business telephone designed for executives, reception teams and professional users who need quick access to multiple calls, extensions and telephone features.
It combines support for up to sixteen SIP accounts with a large 7-inch colour touchscreen, Yealink HD Voice, dual Gigabit Ethernet, Power over Ethernet and flexible support for headsets, wireless adapters and expansion modules.

DESIGNED FOR BUSINESS
The Yealink SIP-T48G is designed for executives, reception teams and professional users who need clear visual call information and rapid access to frequently used telephone features.
Up to sixteen SIP accounts can be configured, allowing the phone to support multiple extensions, telephone numbers or service providers where permitted by the connected platform.
The large 7-inch colour touchscreen provides an intuitive interface for calls, directories, programmable functions, call history and phone settings.
Its 800 × 480 resolution provides a clear presentation of caller information, line status and on-screen controls.
Yealink HD Voice supports clear wideband audio through the handset and speakerphone when used with a compatible telephone service.
The full-duplex speakerphone includes acoustic echo cancellation, allowing both parties to speak naturally during hands-free calls.
Common calling functions include hold, mute, transfer, forwarding, call waiting, Do Not Disturb, call pickup, call parking and voicemail access.
Three-way local conferencing allows the user to combine two additional participants into one call, subject to telephone-platform support.
Directory support can include a local phonebook, remote XML phonebooks and compatible LDAP directory services.
Busy Lamp Field and presence functions can display the status of compatible extensions before a call is placed or transferred.
Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports allow the telephone and a nearby computer to share one network connection without restricting the computer to Fast Ethernet speeds.
IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet allows a compatible network switch or injector to provide power and network data through one Ethernet cable.
Where PoE is unavailable, the phone can use an optional compatible Yealink 5V/2A mains power adapter.
The USB port supports call recording to suitable USB storage, subject to firmware and telephone-platform configuration.
Optional Yealink WF40 and BT40 USB adapters can add Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity where supported by the installed firmware.
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are not built into the telephone and require the correct optional USB accessories.
The dedicated RJ9 headset port supports compatible professional wired headsets using the appropriate connection cable.
Selected wireless headset systems can provide remote answering and call control when used with a compatible electronic hook-switch adapter.
The Yealink EXP40 expansion module adds programmable line, speed-dial, call-control and Busy Lamp Field keys.
Up to six EXP40 modules can be connected, providing up to 240 additional programmable buttons. External power is required when more than two modules are used.
The adjustable desktop stand provides two viewing positions and the phone can also be wall mounted using a compatible bracket.
Yealink ended sales of the SIP-T48G on 1 April 2020 and ended official manufacturer support on 1 April 2025.
The telephone requires a compatible SIP account, hosted VoIP service or IP-PBX configuration. These services are not included with the hardware.

COMPATIBILITY & SETUP
The Yealink SIP-T48G is a SIP network phone and requires a compatible hosted VoIP provider, SIP server or IP-PBX.
The phone connects through Gigabit Ethernet and can receive power from a compatible IEEE 802.3af PoE switch or injector.
Where PoE is unavailable, a compatible Yealink 5V/2A power adapter is required. The adapter is not included unless specifically stated.
Wi-Fi is not built in and requires a compatible Yealink WF40 USB Wi-Fi adapter.
Bluetooth is not built in and requires a compatible Yealink BT40 USB Bluetooth adapter.
The telephone has one USB port, so only one USB accessory can normally be connected directly at a time.
Compatible wired headsets can connect through the RJ9 headset port. Selected wireless headset systems may require a compatible EHS adapter.
Up to six Yealink EXP40 modules can be connected for additional programmable line, speed-dial and Busy Lamp Field controls. External power is needed when more than two modules are used.
The model reached end of life in April 2025 and no longer receives official Yealink software, security or technical support.
