PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The refurbished Yealink SIP-T48S is a premium touchscreen IP phone designed for executives, reception teams, managers and other professionals who regularly handle a high volume of business calls.
Its large 7-inch colour touchscreen provides fast access to contacts, call history, directories and telephone functions, while support for up to sixteen SIP accounts, Gigabit Ethernet, Power over Ethernet and USB accessories makes it suitable for advanced SIP telephone environments.

DESIGNED FOR BUSINESS
The Yealink SIP-T48S is designed for professionals who need fast access to several telephone lines, contacts and call-handling functions.
Its 7-inch 800 × 480 capacitive touchscreen provides an intuitive interface for navigating menus, selecting accounts, managing calls and accessing directories.
The phone supports up to sixteen SIP accounts, making it suitable for users who manage several extensions, business lines or departmental identities.
Twenty-nine one-touch DSS keys can be displayed across multiple touchscreen pages for line appearances, speed dial, busy-lamp fields and other programmable functions.
Yealink Optima HD Voice combines wideband codecs, HD handset audio and a full-duplex speakerphone for clearer conversations.
Common call functions include hold, mute, transfer, forwarding, call waiting, Do Not Disturb, redial, speed dial and voicemail access.
The telephone supports local conferencing, with additional conferencing capacity depending on the connected SIP platform or hosted provider.
Dual-port Gigabit Ethernet allows a computer to share the network connection through the telephone without restricting the connection to Fast Ethernet speeds.
IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet allows power and network connectivity to be supplied through one compatible Ethernet connection.
Where PoE is unavailable, the telephone can use a compatible optional Yealink 5V/2A mains adapter.
The built-in USB port supports selected Yealink Wi-Fi and Bluetooth dongles, compatible USB headsets and USB call recording.
The optional EXP40 expansion module adds programmable physical keys for receptionists, assistants and users monitoring a larger number of extensions.
A dedicated RJ9 headset port supports compatible wired headsets, while selected wireless-headset systems may require an appropriate electronic hook-switch adapter.
Directory support can include local contacts, remote phonebooks, LDAP and XML directories, subject to telephone-system configuration.
Automatic provisioning through Yealink RPS, PnP, TFTP, FTP, HTTP or HTTPS can simplify larger deployments.
Security features include configuration-file encryption, HTTPS management, TLS signalling and SRTP media encryption where supported by the connected platform.
The adjustable stand supports two desktop viewing angles, and an optional wall-mount bracket can be used where suitable.
Yealink discontinued the SIP-T48S in March 2022 and identifies the T48U as its replacement.
A compatible SIP account, hosted VoIP service or IP-PBX configuration is required and is not included with the telephone.

COMPATIBILITY & SETUP
The Yealink SIP-T48S is a standards-based SIP telephone and requires a compatible hosted VoIP provider, SIP server or IP-PBX.
It connects through its Gigabit Ethernet network port and supports IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet.
Where PoE is unavailable, a compatible Yealink 5V/2A mains adapter is required. A power adapter is not included unless specifically stated.
Compatible Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, headset and expansion accessories may require a minimum firmware version and should be checked against the exact accessory before purchase.
The telephone supports the Yealink EXP40 expansion module. The later EXP43 is designed for the newer T4U range and should not be treated as a direct T48S accessory.
The T48S is the standard SIP model. Separate Skype for Business editions were also produced and may use different firmware or platform features.
Yealink discontinued the model in March 2022, so compatibility with current hosted platforms should be confirmed before a new deployment.
Please note: A SIP account, hosted licence, telephone number, power adapter, wireless dongle, headset and expansion module are not included unless specifically stated.
