The refurbished Yealink W52H is a compact cordless DECT handset designed for mobile business calling in offices, shops, workshops and other workplaces where users need to move away from a fixed desk phone.

It features a 1.8-inch colour display, Yealink HD Voice, a full-duplex speakerphone, illuminated keypad, belt-clip support and a dedicated 2.5mm headset socket. The W52H must be registered to a compatible Yealink DECT base or supported DD10K-enabled desk phone and cannot operate as a standalone telephone.

DESIGNED FOR BUSINESS

The Yealink W52H gives users the freedom to make and receive business calls while moving around within the coverage area of a compatible Yealink DECT system.

Its compact handset design is suitable for office employees, retail teams, reception staff and other users who do not remain at one fixed desk throughout the day.

The 1.8-inch colour display presents caller information, menus, call history, directory entries and telephone status in a clear portable format.

An illuminated keypad assists operation in poorly lit rooms, while context-sensitive keys and a directional navigation control provide straightforward access to everyday features.

Yealink HD Voice and G.722 wideband audio support clearer speech when the handset, base and connected telephone service are configured for wideband calling.

The integrated full-duplex speakerphone allows convenient hands-free conversations without requiring a separate conference device.

A dedicated 2.5mm headset socket supports a compatible wired headset for private or hands-free calling.

Common telephone functions can include hold, mute, transfer, call waiting, forwarding, Do Not Disturb, intercom, redial and voicemail indication, depending on the connected base and VoIP platform.

The handset can place and receive more than one call where supported by the base, account configuration and telephone provider.

A local handset directory and call-history menus provide quick access to frequently used contacts and recent calls.

DECT technology provides a typical indoor operating range of up to approximately 50 metres and an outdoor line-of-sight range of up to approximately 300 metres under ideal conditions.

Actual range can be reduced by walls, floors, metal structures, electrical interference and the positioning of the connected base station.

Rechargeable batteries provide up to approximately 10 hours of talk time or 100 hours of standby time under suitable operating conditions.

The included charging cradle provides a convenient desktop location for storing and charging the handset between calls.

The removable belt clip allows the handset to be carried while users move around a workplace.

The W52H was originally supplied for the W52P system and can also work with selected later Yealink DECT equipment, subject to the base model and installed firmware.

Current Yealink documentation continues to list the W52H for use with selected DD10K-equipped desk phones, including compatible T5-series models.

Compatibility with newer single-cell or multi-cell DECT bases is not universal and should be checked before purchase.

The W52P system was discontinued by Yealink on 30 September 2021, with the newer W73P identified as the recommended replacement platform.
