The refurbished Yealink WF40 is a compact Wi-Fi USB dongle designed to connect selected Yealink IP phones to a compatible 2.4GHz wireless network.
It provides a practical alternative where a wired Ethernet connection is unavailable or inconvenient, supporting IEEE 802.11b/g/n wireless networking and transfer speeds of up to 150Mbps.

DESIGNED FOR BUSINESS
The Yealink WF40 provides wireless network connectivity for compatible Yealink IP phones that do not have built-in Wi-Fi.
It is particularly useful where an Ethernet socket is unavailable, where installing a new network cable would be inconvenient or where a telephone needs to be repositioned within the workplace.
The adapter connects directly to a compatible USB port on the telephone and is powered by the phone, so it does not require a separate mains adapter.
Once detected, available wireless networks can be selected and configured through the compatible Yealink phone’s settings menu.
The WF40 supports 2.4GHz IEEE 802.11b, 802.11g and 802.11n wireless networks.
It does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi. Customers requiring dual-band connectivity should consider the compatible Yealink WF50 instead.
The maximum quoted transmission rate is 150Mbps, although actual performance depends on the connected router, signal quality, network congestion and environmental conditions.
The compact design measures approximately 26.9 × 18 × 8mm, allowing it to remain discreet when connected to the telephone.
Wireless security support includes 64-bit, 128-bit and 152-bit WEP encryption together with WPA-PSK and WPA2-PSK.
The WF40 is intended for compatible Yealink IP phones and should not be treated as a general-purpose Wi-Fi adapter for computers or other USB equipment.
Official Yealink compatibility includes selected SIP-T27G, T29G, T46G, T48G, T41S, T42S, T46S, T48S, T42U, T43U, T44U, T46U, T48U, T52S, T54S and T53 models.
Some earlier telephone models require a minimum firmware version before the WF40 will be recognised correctly.
For the T48G, Yealink specifies firmware version 35.80.0.95 or later.
The T29G, T46G, T46S and T48S require version 81 firmware or later, while the T27G, T41S and T42S require firmware x.81.0.110 or later.
Compatibility should therefore be confirmed against the exact telephone model and installed firmware before purchase.
The adapter provides network connectivity only. It does not add Bluetooth, supply telephone power or include a SIP account or hosted telephone service.

COMPATIBILITY & SETUP
The Yealink WF40 is designed for selected Yealink IP phones with a compatible USB port and supported firmware.
Officially listed models include the SIP-T27G, T29G, T46G, T48G, T41S, T42S, T46S, T48S, T42U, T43U, T44U, T46U, T48U, T52S, T54S and T53.
Some older phones require a firmware upgrade before the adapter will operate correctly. Compatibility should be checked against both the exact telephone model and its installed firmware.
The WF40 supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only. It cannot connect to a network that is available solely on the 5GHz band.
The connected phone must be positioned within reliable range of the wireless router or access point. Signal strength, interference and network congestion can affect call quality.
The WF40 is not a Bluetooth adapter and cannot be used to connect a wireless headset.
Please note: A compatible Yealink telephone, Wi-Fi router, SIP account, hosted licence and telephone service are not included.
